Man who died in Beaminster Tunnel crash named
A 65-year-old motorcyclist who died in an accident at Beaminster Tunnel has been named.
An inquest was opened and adjourned into the death at Bournemouth Coroners Court earlier today.
The court heard that Clive Stephen Holt , 65, from Wincanton, died last Sunday (Oct 26).
The court heard that Mr Holt was involved in a single vehicle road traffic accident at 10.15am on Sunday, while riding a Honda motorcycle along Tunnel Road just before the Beaminster Tunnel.
He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and the coroner are continuing their investigations and the inquest was adjourned for a date to be fixed.
