WILDLIFE experts are keeping an eye on their 'kestrel cam' after the arrival of a new female.
Earlier this month, the female of the Lorton Meadows' breeding pair of kestrels was killed by a predator.
She had laid six eggs but sadly they could not hatch without her there to keep them warm.
Luckily the male has now found himself another mate and last weekend, she laid her first egg.
The new female has so far laid three eggs and can be seen on the kestrel cam in the nesting box brooding them.
Pictures and update to follow. Click here to watch the kestrel cam live stream.
