Police attended reports of a disturbance in Weymouth town centre this evening.
Officers were called to Westham Road after a member of the public called the force at 5.14pm this afternoon.
Police were on scene until this evening carrying out investigations.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "Enquiries were carried out as a result of the disturbance but it was not crime related."
The investigation has now closed.
No arrests have been made.
