A hilarious heart-warming tale about an unlikely friendship can be seen in rural Dorset.
Kevin, King of Egypt is an award-winning show created by mental health nurse turned stand-up poet Rob Gee.
It will be performed in Milborne St Andrew on Sunday, March 6 and Shipton Gorge on Saturday, March 5.
Kevin, King of Egypt tells of an unlikely friendship between an escaped mental health patient and a lost child.
It has been created with the help and support people on both sides of the psychiatric fence. Kevin, the show’s protagonist, has a diagnosis of bipolar illness and in creating the piece, Mr Gee hopes to dispel some of the stereotypes and myths about this condition.
Supported by Dorset's touring arts charity Artsreach, Kevin, King of Egypt can be seen at Shipton Gorge (01308 897407) on Saturday, March 5 and Milborne St Andrew (01258 839060) on Sunday, March 6. It is recommended for those aged 16-plus.
