A MEMBER of a top folk band is to bring his musical talent to a Dorset village hall.
Phil Beer, singer and guitar and fiddle player - who also plays mandolin and ukulele - will perform at Osmington Village Hall on Sunday, September 17.
Best known as one half of folk royalty duo Show of Hands, and much in demand as a producer and multi-instrumentalist, Phil is a wonderful solo performer.
Laid back and charming, he’s a great raconteur with an engaging stage presence.
He carries his audience effortlessly through an extensive repertoire of folk fiddle and mesmerising, romantic tunes and ballads, with a fair bit of laughter on the way.
Phoenix Fundraisers and Osmington Music are working together on this occasion. There will be a bar and free parking.
