Bockhampton Lane is also closed both ways between Knapwater and the West Stafford turn off at Lower Bockhampton.

Further north, Lower Road in Stalbridge is shut to traffic coming from both directions due to the flooding from Springfields to Hargrove Cottages.

This comes after flood warnings were issued for the River Frome earlier this week as river levels have risen due to heavy rain.
