An Evening of (very) Old Radio is touring to rural Dorset on the Artsreach circuit.
Researched, written and performed by Paul Kerensa, a British Comedy Award-winning writer (Miranda, Not Going Out), comedian and broadcast historian, expect tales, clips and re-enactments of Auntie Beeb’s earliest landmark moments.
This includes the first BBC broadcast, the first children’s drama, sports commentary and more.
An Evening of (very) Old Radio will be in the following villages: January 25: Nether Compton Village Hall; January 26: West Stafford Village Hall; January 27: Marnhull Village Hall and January 28: Studland Village Hall).
