The Preston Panto group will be performing the magical tale of Cinderella.

Preston Pantomime Group is Weymouth’s longest-running local pantomime group having operated since 1979.

Its highlight is the annual pantomime each February half term which, over the last 40 years, has become a tradition in Preston.

It will be held at Preston Village Hall in Weymouth.

A spokesperson from the group said: “We have some familiar faces treading the boards once again, as well as new members of all ages within the cast and crew.

"Everyone from the cast, backstage crew, set designers and a host of others are working hard to put on a fabulous show with colourful costumes, stunning scenery and toe-tapping tunes.

"So, come along to boo, hiss, cheer and laugh at this magical family panto."

Each year Preston Pantomime donates some of its proceeds to local charities. This year’s charities are: Gully’s Place, Weldmar Hospice Care and Tumbledown Community Farm.
