An amateur dramatic group in a west Dorset village is preparing to put on their annual pantomime.
The Broadmayne Players is presenting its latest pantomime 'Robinson Crusoe adrift on Treasure Island ' on Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17 at the village hall.
There will be one viewing on the Friday evening at 7.30pm as well as a matinee showing at 1.30pm and evening showing at 7.30pm on the Saturday.
A spokesperson for the Broadmayne Players said: "A thigh-slapping panto written by Teresa Grinter and adapted by Neil Read.
"Join Robinson and Jim on this hilarious adventure as they brave stormy seas, pirates and surprises in their quest to find buried treasure.
"Full of fun, singing and lots of action in this swashbuckling tale.
"Pieces of Eight for everyone who come to watch dressed as a pirate..
