A MAN appeared in court charged with sexual assault on a female in Weymouth.
Hassan Abou Hayleh of Radipole Lane in Weymouth appeared before Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 6.
He pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault on a female.
The charge refers to an incident on December 18, 2022, where it is alleged Hayleh intentionally touched a woman aged 16 or over and that touching was sexual when she did not consent and he did not reasonably believe that she was consenting.
He is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 19-year-old outside The Closet nightclub in Weymouth.
The defendant denies the charge.
Hayleh, 38, was represented by Mr Christmas, mitigating. Ms Olney was prosecuting.
The defendant was remanded on unconditional bail until a hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, April 4.
