A film festival celebrating work of emerging talents will be taking place in Dorset.

The Dorset indie Film Festival will be returning this year, taking place at Bridport Electric Palace on Wednesday, May 15 from 6pm to 10pm.

It began in 2018 and is managed and hosted by Weymouth College students, aiming to showcase indie films from filmmakers, directors, and producers nationwide as well as from Dorset based creators.

Submissions opened at the beginning of this year, with a particular interest in seeing more pieces from Dorset-based filmmakers.

Many different genres will be featured at this event.

A film line-up is yet to be announced.

Tickets cost £3.50 per person and are available to buy on the Bridport Electric Palace website: https://tinyurl.com/48ssjprx
