A road on Portland is to close for the next 24 hours following a major gas leak.
Hamm Beach Road on Portland, near the Lidl supermarket and the Sailing Academy is closed at the Hamm Roundabout
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Hamm Beach Road is now closed for a period of 24 hours due to a major gas leak.
"Police and Fire are currently on scene and will update once the road has been re-opened."
