A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car crash.
Dorchester Police received a report of a collision in the area yesterday evening.
A person said to be the driver was located and failed a roadside breath test, according to officers. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving over the limit.
Dorchester Police said: "Towards the end of the Neighbourhood Officers' shift we were alerted to a vehicle parked in a rather peculiar place. Assisted by Response Officers the driver was located and subsequently failed a road side breath test, resulting in his arrest on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit for alcohol.
"Thankfully he had not sustained any serious injuries and no other persons were involved. The male remains in police custody whilst enquires continue."
Officers added: "We take information received seriously - do you have any information relating to a drink or drug driver? Please report via 101, by reporting online at https://orlo.uk/srVe3, via Crimestoppers or via 999 if they are driving at the time."
