Police will conduct patrols and have issued advice following a spate of door kicking in a Dorset town.

Dorchester Police have reportedly received several calls over the weekend (between Friday, May 3 and Monday, May 6) from people in the county town who said that people have been kicking on their doors.

Officers will be conducting patrols and reviewing CCTV in a bid to find those responsible as they warned that those on the other side of the door could be elderly or vulnerable.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said to report any anti-social behaviour at the time it is happening by calling 101.

The spokesperson said: “Dorchester Police have received several calls over this weekend of Door Kicking in Dorchester Town.

“This behaviour is both impactive and upsetting to the people the other side of the door, who can be elderly or vulnerable. Officers will be conducting patrols and reviewing CCTV to find those responsible. Should you witness any Anti-social behaviour, please report at the time, via 101 or online.”
