HOT high street fashion arrived in Milborne St Andrew with great style on Saturday 9th May.

The committee and members of the Milborne St Andrew Wednesday Social Club would like to thank all those who supported the above event and made it such a great evening.

It was fantastic to see the village’s response to the event and seeing all the happy smiling faces made all the planning and preparation worthwhile.

All the models were local people, none of them professionals, but they threw themselves into the evening with great humour.

The total raised was £505.90 and a donation to the charity ‘Mosaic’ will be made.

A big ‘thank you’ is also extended to M&Co., Blandford who enthusiastically provided their expertise and guidance from the start, as well as all the fashions!

Without their help the fashion show would not have been possible.

Grateful thanks also go to Signpost Housing Association and Tenants Forum for kindly funding and printing the programmes at extremely short notice.

Thanks to the Peoples Lottery Grant, recently awarded to the Village Hall, the professional effect of the catwalk was further enhanced by the newly installed control room.

This contains technical sound equipment and lighting, it is user friendly and has been installed so that any community group will be able to avail themselves of the facility.
