THE BACON BUTTY Brunch & Coffee Morning is on Saturday, 11th February at 11.00 am, do put it in your diaries as there will be stalls with cakes, books etc. & the profit is all going towards funding our Queen’s Jubilee Street Party on June 5th!
TUESDAY, 7th February the Village Club meets at 7.30 pm for the AGM (about 15/20 minutes!) and will be followed by a presentation by Rob Curtis on ‘Turnpikes and Dorset Coaching Days’. Rob is an excellent speaker, very amusing and knowledgeable, generally has some good slides and is well worth hearing – do come and join us, £2.00 per visitor and refreshments available.
A SCRABBLE & Games Evening has been started by Hilary and Tim each Wednesday at 8.00pm in the Elm Tree – do come along and join the fun.
WHAT A scrumptious meal we had at the Lunch Club on Tuesday, and the company was excellent too – the whole set up was a brilliant idea, although the central core of helpers do get lumbered. If you fancy helping out at one or more, do talk to Sheila Milton, they all would be glad of some assistance.
