Looking Back: St Thomas Street, Weymouth town centre, year unknown
LOOKING Back readers Sylvia and Dennis Mould have been researching shops from yesteryear in Weymouth town centre.
Their research has inspired us to run a series of articles about the shops in Weymouth and Portland in the 1970s.
This week we're going to kick off with this photo of St Thomas Street, which seems to have been taken in the 1970s but is undated.
The number 22 bus is heading for the Downclose Estate via Rodwell and we can see the sign for Darch's cycle shop and furniture business.
