TRIBUTE band The Unravelling Wilburys are putting their own spin on British American supergroup the Traveling Wilburys at their show in Dorchester next month.

The band was formed from members of Sgt Pepper’s Only Dart Board Band which toured with its highly successful Beatles project for 21 years.

The Unravelling Wilburys, at the Corn Exchange on October 22, will take the audience on a tour of all things best of The Traveling Wilburys, replicating the sounds and songs of this particular ‘supergroup’ from the late 80s.

Adorned with five of the most famous names in rock history………. George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty… the Wilburys filled the airwaves with timeless songs such as Handle with Care, End of the Line, The Devil’s Been Busy, Not Alone Anymore, Tweeter and The Monkey Man and Heading for the Light.

These, and a number of other great songs, form the basis of the set around which the band weave some choice cuts from the solo work of Roy Orbison (Pretty Woman, You Got It), Jeff Lynne’s ELO (Mr Blue Sky, When I Was A Boy), Tom Petty (The Waiting, I Won’t Back Down), George Harrison (Got My Mind Set On You, All Those Years Ago) and Bob Dylan (Hey Mr Tambourine Man, Make You Feel My Love) to name but a few.

The whole package is presented with the band’s inimitable style and humour.
