CAME Down ladies have a new club champion in Gaye Thompson.
Thompson played well to win the two-round medal event, her scratch total of 162 secured the prestigious Dora Hutchings Cup and title of club champion.
It was a closely-contested competition, with Thompson winning by one shot from runner-up Sue Cox. Sue Stokey was third.
Mary Crampton won the Who’s A’Feared Trophy with a 36-hole nett score of 142. Sarah Ayling and Heather Inman were second and third respectively.
