young windsurfer Scotty Stallman won the youth category of Weymouth Speed Week.

Many young speed surfers entered the event, but it was Stallman who showed consistency in his speed achieving an eye-watering 27.235 knots.

Adding to his collection of trophies, he followed on his Speed Week success to win the Team 15 end-of-season race night.

Held at the Official Test Centre (OTC) in some strong winds, the evening proved a great success with many young people attending with a range of windsurfing experience and skills.

Stallman faced some close competition from other up-and-coming windsurfers. However he showed his dominance and won the races, even when missing the start by a significant time.

The racing was a fantastic end to the Team 15 season.

It was supported by parents, who provided encouragement to the youngsters in cold and gusty conditions.

The Team 15 sessions will now be held on Saturday mornings from 10 until noon.
