SHOWJUMPER Yazmin Davis continued her excellent form with ninth place at the Big Tour Grand Prix.
In a hectic month, Davis also boasted an impressive class victory on Aramus VI in the Hickstead B&C qualifier, as well as another excellent result at the Keysoe CSI 1/2*.
Coming off the back of claiming the Jeep All Stars Grand Prix title in October, Blandford Forum-based Davis and her horse Zilverstar II, owned by Alison Davis, showed their class once again with an inch-perfect double clear to finish ninth.
With it being just their second appearance in a world ranking Grand Prix, the duo had the burden of jumping first.
But by setting a competitive time the pair showed they are in great form.
In the B&C qualifier, it was Aramus VI who rode to first place, a position ultimately sealed following a solid first round of jumping.
Described as a very progressive horse and one for the indoor winter season, Davis pulled out all the stops in the jump-off to win the class in style.
However, 10-year-old Zilverster II narrowly missed out on the second qualifying place, settling for fourth despite continuing to jump well.
At the Keysoe CSI 1/2* event, Aramus VI continued to impress and again had a very solid show.
He finished sixth in the first of the Small Tour classes following an elegant double clear on the first day and a very creditable eighth place on the second.
A resounding display at the Small Tour Grand Prix saw a double clear clinch a fifth-placed finish.
B&C QUALIFIER RESULT
1 Yazmin Davis/Aramus VI, 2 Chelsea Skelton/Caramba, 3 Tracy Priest/Caristo VDL, 4 Yazmin Davis/Zilverster II
