WEYMOUTH Reserves will not play again until the New Year now, as their scheduled Dorset Premier League contest with Shaftesbury Town has been called off this afternoon due to a waterlogged pitch.

Commenting on the postponement, Terras’ manager Jake Richmond, whose side are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions, told Echosport: “It’s one of those things.

“I haven’t been up to see their pitch and I am half tempted to go and have a look at it but it isn’t going to change anything so there’s not much point. We have to take their word for it.

“I just find it astonishing that our game is off and no other games are off.”
