DORSET show jumper Yazmin Davis has received a massive boost to her equestrian career by landing a sponsorship deal with a global technology company.

Davis, who secured the Jeep All Stars Grand Prix title last October and made her Nations Cup debut for Great Britain earlier this month, is the latest sporting talent to sign up with Ricoh.

She joins the likes of professional golfer Charley Hull and tennis player Johanna Konta as brand ambassadors for the firm.

“I am so proud to be representing a global brand like Ricoh, and hopefully I will make them very proud to be associated with myself,” said Davis.

“It’s not every day you get opportunities like this, and I would like to take thank Ricoh for their help. Hopefully it can lead to great things.

“The prestige of being associated with a company like Ricoh cannot be put into words, I am just very proud.”

Ricoh is an official partner of Premiership Rugby in England and sponsors the Lawn Tennis Association, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and Gloucester Rugby Club.

Ricoh UK’s Chas Moloney said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Yazmin and her team of horses.

“She is an immensely talented horsewoman and we have great expectations of her, having followed her impressive progress over the last six months.”
