SEABOROUGH handler Harry Fry was delighted to see Brotherly Company double his score over hurdles with a victory at Kempton.

The impressive four-year-old, who also won at Exeter last month, got home to claim victory in the Racing UK Amateur Riders’ Handicap Hurdle, with Mikey Legg on board.

The 13-8 favourite finished one-and-three-quarter lengths ahead of the Nicky Henderson-trained Forever Field in second.

Reacting to his charge’s triumph, Fry posted on his official website: “Brotherly Company, who appreciates good ground, was given a fine ride by Mikey Legg who has made excellent progress since joining us this season.

“He travelled well before leading going to the second last and winning with a bit to spare.

“While Brotherly Company is in such good form it makes sense to keep him on the go so we will look for another handicap for him now.

“He has taken to hurdles really well since we brought him off the flat in October.

“His jumping is slick and he should continue to give Brian and Sandy Lambert (owners) more fun over the summer while conditions are in his favour.”

That victory meant it was a successful bank holiday weekend for Fry’s yard, as eight-year-old Fletchers Flyer also scooped the Madra Irish Dog Foods Handicap Chase at Punchestown.
