DORCHESTER Town player-manager Mark Jermyn is confident he will have a full squad available to him tomorrow when his side take on Poole Town at the Avenue (3pm).

It will be their last run-out before their Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division campaign begins and the boss feels he will have everyone available.

He told Echosport: “We should have Ben Wood back tomorrow and he gives us an extra dimension.

“I’m hoping to have a full side out, one that will be looking to start the season.

“Injuries will dictate but hopefully we will have a strong team.”

Asked about how close he is to knowing his starting XI for the first game of the season, Jermyn remarked: “You have to go with the best 11 players you have at that time.

“We have that in mind and if I’m honest it wouldn’t be too hard to see who’s in it.

“We have a tough start and I hope we can go into that first game without injuries.”

Jake Smeeton and Matt Oldring were involved in a hefty clash of heads on Tuesday in the draw with Wimborne Town, but both should be available having been patched up at the hospital.

Mario Mateus and David Jerrard both rolled their ankles at Cuthbury, but the pair are set to feature against the Dolphins tomorrow.
