JAMES Shanes is set to take to the grass in defence of his British Masters title on Sunday, August 14 at Bristol Grass Racing Combine near Chippenham.
The champion from Puddletown will be up against the best grasstrack starts but also those with a passion for shale as speedway star Chris Harris is among the starting line-up.
Shanes, the sport's bright new spectacular young talent, will also be challenged hard by former European and British Masters Champions Andrew Appleton and Paul Hurry, top continental campaigners Glen Phillips and Richard Hall and more stars including Isle of Wight's Mark Baseby, double National League Riders Champion Steve Boxall, and Lakeside's Rob Mear.
First race is at 1pm with practice, a rider presentation, and meet the riders session beforehand.
