WEYMOUTH'S final game of the season against Christchurch has been abandoned before a ball was bowled at Redlands.
Heavy overnight rain put pay to the clash meaning both sides will get five points meaning the Seasiders have secured their status in County Division One.
The abandonment comes a week after Weymouth had to scratch their fixture with Hamworthy Recreation because they could only muster eight players.
However, this week, they were able to select a full team before the weather thwarted their chances of play.
