BEES’ boss Adam Fricker is not ruling out the possibility of rotating his squad, when they head to Shepton Mallet in league action tomorrow (7.30pm).

The St Mary’s Field side, who drew 3-3 with Bradford Town on Saturday, make the trip looking for their second league win of the campaign.

But, with a busy schedule of games coming their way over the next couple of months, the former Chard chief is looking to keep his charges fresh.

He told Echosport: “From our point of view, we need to have a look at the players. We are playing a lot of football at the moment and it does take its toll.

“One thing we said to the lads is that we need honesty from them as to how they are feeling and how their legs are.”

He added: “We have a big squad and we need to utilise it.

“We will have a look before the game and see who may need a rest and possibly change it up a little bit.”

Ryan Hayter is still looking to overcome a hip injury for the Bees at present and Fricker revealed he could get some minutes this weekend.

“We are hopeful that he may turn out for the reserves on Saturday,” the Bridport manager said when asked about Hayter.

“I spoke to him at the weekend and he is definitely improving.

“He is desperate to get back out there in the first team but we are that close with him now, we don’t want to rush him back and then he has a set-back.”
