DORCHESTER’S first XV are set to lock horns with Lytchett Minster tomorrow (3pm), looking to make it three wins out of three in Dorset & Wilts One South.

Following a narrow defeat in the cup away to Bradford on Avon last time out, the county town side are set to make six changes.

Most notably Leo Ansell steps up from the bench to make his first start for the first team, the front row trio of Evans, Cottell and Ritchie continue along with the second row paring of Lee King and the evergreen Paul Broadbent.

George Foot returns from a calf injury to start at 10.

Meanwhile, the second XV entertain the Wheatsheaf CC at Coburg Road.

Playing at home, the second team see chairman Nick Hodge take to the pitch in his playing capacity, along with the return of Chris Backhouse at 10 and the swift Julian Dale starts on the wing.

Prop Chris Elliott is expected to make a return from injury, starting on the bench. Captain Rob Parker again has a team made up of both third and second team players due to injuries and unavailability.

Junior section games at home this weekend include under-7s and under-11s against local rivals Swanage & Wareham.

The under-14s play Ellingham & Ringwood and the colts take on Sherborne.
