BALTI Sports need a reaction to Saturday’s 8-1 drubbing by Merley when they host winless Sturminster Marshall tomorrow (3pm), according to boss Marco Nott.

Nott’s men were simply not at the races and were punished by Merley, with Nott believing that result should serve as a wake-up call to his players.

And, given the struggle Balti had in dispatching Marshall 2-1 in the reverse fixture, Nott has called for full focus from his players.

He told Echosport: “We went up there at the start of the season, people were beating them well and we were lucky to get a 2-1 win.

“We’re definitely not taking them for granted. We were pathetic last Saturday. We need to buck our ideas up and get a much-improved performance.

“We’ve got to put right the wrongs. We were so bad, it wasn’t good enough. I’m concentrating on getting a better performance out of the boys.

“I say to them all the time that if they play well and want it, then they’re good enough to cause any team problems. I’m hoping we’ll get a reaction.”

Balti welcome back Derek Wall, Aston Butcher, Ethan Clark, Harry Rupp and Jake Hawker.
