A man has been released on bail after being airlifted to hospital following reports of two women attacked in Weymouth.
Police were called to the scene and arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The arrested man was then airlifted to hospital for treatment to a head injury, reportedly sustained following the incident.
Now, the arrested man has been released on bail as the investigation continues.
Police, paramedics, firefighters and an air ambulance rushed to the Westwey Road at around 11.53pm on Monday, April 29.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “The 28-year-old arrested man who attended hospital has been released on police bail as the investigation continues.”
